Update History
Thursday, February 6, 2015
It's 2015. Yes, 2015. It has indeed been 7 whole years since I last did anything with this page. Talk about a different kind of slacking! I have been slacklining regularly for the last month or so, and I realized how woefully out-of-date this site has become. A lot of the pages on here needed updating, or to be made in the first place.
Given all of the climbing, slacklining and engineering experience I have had in the last 7 years, I think that my site updates and additions will be of much better quality than what was on here. The new site will do-away with the awkward pop-up images and use nice, modern jQuery slideshows and image overlays, which should really improve the usability and feel of things. So, what have I done, besides typing this update post? Look and see!

The low-line rig checklists are up now. The next few days are super busy, so I may be unable to make much progress until Sunday. Due to rain, my plans for climbing around Santa Barbara have been canceled, so that leaves a little more time for SSR!

The links section is not populated. Due to some odd server behavior, I will be rewriting some articles that have disappeared into some sort of internet-abyss. Weird, let's hope it doesn't happen again!

There is now a working slackline tension calculator in the Articles & Tools section. Progress is a little slow, I know. Getting there, getting there.........

The site went under the knife tonight. This was formerly the Pacific Slackline Club's home page, but things never really took-off enough to need a web site. Now it is the Super Slacker Resource, a more generic enthusiast site. Fellow slackers will be more than welcome to request that content be added should they have some they wish to send me. Hopefully this will launch well and be a useful resource for all!
